Koh Samet is one of the most accessible islands from Pattaya with ferries leaving from Ban Phe Pier in Rayong province, just over an hour’s car journey from the city. As the name would suggest, the resort is located directly on Sai Kaew Beach and is a relaxing resort with excellent amenities. It is aimed more at families than perhaps others on our list, which can be appealing. Again, they have their own restaurants and bars onsite and can cater for weddings. Here you can leave all your stresses behind and relax regardless of how long you stay.
4. Samed Grandview Resort
Samed Grandview Resort is a 3-star hotel on Sai Kaew Beach with all rooms having impressive wooden balconies or verandas where you can take in the stunning views. There is an onsite restaurant as well as a bar where you can sit and enjoy a relaxing meal or contemplate participating in one of the many activities available such as a ride on a banana boat or game of beach volleyball.

5. Miss Hong House
Miss Hong House is a budget 2-star hotel but is better than its rating suggests and is close to Sai Kaew Beach. The rooms are clean and simple, and although the facilities are a little limited, there is plenty nearby to keep you occupied. All rooms have free WiFi with barbeques being available if you enjoy cooking for yourself. Miss Hong House is a particularly popular hotel with backpackers and those on a budget.
6. Ao Prao Resort
Ao Prao Resort is a boutique hotel on one of the quieter beaches on the island with more dramatic features thanks to the rugged rocks and jungle-like surroundings. Here you will stay in Thai-style cottages and enjoy a fining dining experience along with a typically warm welcome from the service team. The facilities are again excellent meaning that you really can just lay back and relax.
