Pattaya is a city that is constantly expanding and, as a result, new condos projects<\/a> are being built all the time. These modern condos all have state-of-the-art features as well as excellent facilities so it does beg the question, why some of the older condos retain their appeal? If we rule out those at the cheaper end of the market for the purposes of this article and focus more on the high-quality condos it quickly becomes apparent why they are still so popular. One of the main reasons that these quality older condos retain their appeal is because they are built in prime locations. This is often on the beachfront or at least very close to it such as Jomtien Plaza in Jomtien and Saranchol in Naklua. This land is simply extremely scarce nowadays and when it does become available, it tends to be extremely expensive.<\/p>\n

Size<\/h2>\n

It is a simple fact that most units within older condominiums have a larger area. It is quite common for studio units to be in the region of 50sqm whereas many modern studios are more likely to be in the region of 25-30sqm. Not only does this make a more pleasant living environment, it also represents better value for money. Naturally, the more room that you have to work with, the more you can achieve \u2013 especially if you are skilled at interior design.<\/p>\n
