Bang Saray, up until recently, was something of quiet village a little bit isolated from Jomtien and Pattaya. It was a place to visit at weekends due to its excellent beach. Although the town has grown significantly in recent years in still manages to distance itself from Pattaya. It has a far more relaxed and laidback feel but that doesn\u2019t mean that there is nothing to do. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the village but close by you will find an abundance of other attractions. Here are just 7 options that may catch your eye.<\/p>\n

Scuba Diving<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Due to its location, it is perhaps little surprise that water sports are one of the main attractions. The waters are cleaner and clearer than in Pattaya and nearby you will find a number of wrecks. The sea is warm throughout the year and the dive schools welcome both novice and expert divers alike. If this is something that has always appealed to you, then Bang Saray could be the place for you!<\/p>\n

Monkey Island<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Just around 1.2km off Bang Saray you will find Monkey Island. As you would expect, the island is quite literally crammed with native monkeys that have become more than accustomed to humans. On the island you can feed and swim with the monkeys. There is also a Buddhist shrine protected by a mermaid making it an interesting photo opportunity.<\/p>\n
