It is impossible not to be impressed by the vast assortment of clinics you can find in Jomtien, everything from dental to cosmetic to medical. The beauty of having such an abundance of private clinics is that there are no long queues or annoying appointment procedures. In nearly all cases, you can walk in and generally be seen after just a few minutes of waiting time. Another interesting point to consider is that the nursing staff here in Thailand usually exhibit greater patience and a gentler level of care than health practitioners found elsewhere in the world. Chanya Medical Clinic
Chanya Medical Clinic is a walk-in private clinic located on Jomtien 2nd, just after the Hanuman Statue. A family firm with a small team of doctors and nurses can conduct a wide range of tests, treatments and even minor surgery. Prices here are reasonable, but to be seen by either a nurse or doctor, you must first present your passport to be registered.
Dr Olivier Clinic
Just off Thepprasit Road on Soi 12, you will find Dr Olivier’s clinic. Dr Olivier, originally from Switzerland, can speak Thai, English, German and French. These linguistic skills make him extremely popular with the ex-pat community. He also offers a truly holistic practise of care, standard medical treatments and anti-ageing, vitamin drips supplements, and hormone treatments.
Internal Medical Clinic
On Thepprasit Road itself, just around the corner from Dr Olivier and easily spotted by its large blue cross signage, is the Internal Medical Clinic. They offer general medical services, including certificates suitable for insurance companies, driving licenses and immigration requirements. As with the other clinics, they have close links with the major hospitals in Pattaya should you be referred for more severe treatment.

MMI Clinic
Also on Thepprasit Road at number 315/63-64 is the MMI Clinic. On the same side of the road as the Internal Medical clinic, it is closer to the traffic lights at the Thappraya road junction. Founded in 2002, MMI stands for Mitmaitri Medical Company Ltd and has 50 branches throughout Thailand, including a head office in the Mueang District of Bangkok. As well as the regular medical examinations, this clinic can also provide health check, dental and family planning services.

SureCell Clinic
The Pratumnak/Jomtien border within a large grey building right at the top of Pratumnak Soi 6 is the Sure Cell clinic. Although primarily known for its PRP, cosmetic and stem cell treatments, the clinic also houses a small medical centre. It has an excellent physiotherapist who is available by appointment only. You can also get more unusual treatments here, such as food intolerance testing and vitamin drips.
