The city has evolved dramatically in recent years and now offers a whole range of activities that children can enjoy. Of course, there are the wonderful beaches around the city along with those that can be found at Koh Larn after an exciting ferry crossing or better still, a trip across to the island on a speedboat. Ramayana Water Park
Let’s face it, we all love a good water park and Ramayana is an excellent one! The largest water park in southeast Asia is located close to the Silverlake Vineyard and opened in 2016 and has gone from strength to strength. There are slides, flumes, lazy rivers and much more with activities for larger kids separate from those for younger children. You will definitely have a fantastic day out here!
Underwater World
Underwater World is located on Sukhumvit Road, close to Soi Chaiyaphruek and its main attraction is the glass walk through tunnel where you get the opportunity to come face to face with creatures from the deep. The best time to go is at feeding time when everything springs to life – including the majestic rays and sharks.
Cartoon Network Amazone
Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark is located very close to Bang Saray to the south of Pattaya along the Sukhumvit Road. Once again this is excellent place to spend a day with the kids and you will find a wide selection of slides and rides to suit children of all ages. Whilst it may not be quite a large as Ramayana, all your favourite Cartoon Network characters will be on hand to ensure that you have just as much fun.

Khao Kheow Zoo
Khao Kheow Zoo is located is located near Sriracha, around 45 minutes to the north of Pattaya. The zoo first opened in 1978 and covers around 2,000 acres of land and is home to over 300 species of animal, some indigenous and some from around the world. The hippos, giraffe and rhinos are always popular as too are the local elephants and snakes. Most of the animals can be fed by visitors which can prove to be a highlight.
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not
Found at Royal Garden Plaza on Pattaya Second Road, Ripley’s is home to 300 unusual exhibits that capture the imagination of children. The shrunken heads, Haunted Adventure and Infinity Maze are the ones that tend to be most appealing but you must ensure that you save time to visit the 12D moving theatre.
Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens
Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens are situated on the Sukhumvit Road on the way to Sattahip. The gardens themselves are great to walk around but it tends to be the animals that appeal to children and the elevated walkways. There is something for both children and adults to appreciate here.

Here you can travel around the world in 80 minutes viewing the Eiffel Tower and Sydney Harbour Bridge in detailed miniature. It doesn’t take too long to get around so is certain to hold their attention.
