Pattaya has some excellent expat bars and it is really down to your own particular taste as to what will appeal to you.
There is something for everyone that will match their interests, nationality and even their sexuality. Some people like the outside beer bars whilst others prefer the comforts of air-conditioning, sport on the TV and some food that we associate with back home. If you fit into the latter category, then these popular expat haunts are likely to be right up your street.
Hemingway’s Bar and Restaurant
Hemingway’s is located in Jomtien Complex and was formerly known as Shenanigans. It has undergone a major revamp since those days and in fairness has come on leaps and bounds under the new owners. They offer great food, excellent service and have a wide selection of beers available to whet your palate. The management team hold regular quiz nights and raffles to get the crowds flocking in and you can enjoy the sport on any of their vast number of screens. A good, multi-national expat crowd gets in and even the newbies will be made to feel very welcome.
