As you would expect, you will find an abundance of quality Thai restaurants in Pattaya. You will see everything from small restaurants tucked away in the sois and representing great value for money, to street food to fine dining establishments. We have decided to opt for the restaurants towards to top end of and these are just 7 of our particular favourites.
Moom Aroi have two venues, both of which are excellent choices although quite contrasting in their décor. The first restaurant in at the very northern end of Naklua Road and is situated on the seafront which naturally creates a great ambience. The second is on Pattaya 3rd Road and is more of a secluded option with plenty of car parking available. Both of these venues serve excellent Thai food but specialise more in seafood dishes and are popular with Thai nationals and slightly larger groups.
Ruen Thai can be found on Pattaya 2nd Road and offers something a little different to all of the other restaurants in the form of traditional Thai dancers. The entertainment that they provide on a nightly basis ensures that you can enjoy a complete Thai experience. The menu is excellent and expertly prepared making this a great option all round.
Flare at the Hilton Hotel on Pattaya Beach Road is a superb venue in every sense. It is a great location with a large and varied menu all served in excellent surroundings. They open at 6.30 every day and close at 10.30 which helps to maintain their extremely high standards. The menu is more of the a la carte variety so you should keep this in mind when you plan to pay a visit.
Not far from the Hilton Pattaya, nice opportunity with this spacious 1 bedroom condo for sale in Northshore
Mai Thai can be found on Naklua Road and is another restaurant that serves superb Thai food. Although they are slightly more expensive than some others in the area, the quality of the food, the ambience and service means that the higher prices are justified. Being on a baht bus route, the fact that they have very little parking available isn’t too much of an issue.
Ginger & Lime
Ginger & Lime is a high-end Thai restaurant that is at the Centara Grand Mirage in Wongamat meaning that is in an idyllic option for a traditional Thai meal in perfect surroundings. The food, as you would imagine, is of the highest order with excellent service to complement this.
Although this is a chain of Thai restaurants, MAY’s which is located on Thepprasit Road offer some of the best Thai food in the city although served in a very friendly and welcoming environment. The menu is relatively large but you tend to visit for the quality rather than for the wide range of dishes.
Not far from May’s, superb and spacious 4 bedroom villa with large pool
Jasmine Café is a relaxed venue at the foot of Pattaya Klang. They serve a selection of Thai dishes, Thai Teas along with a limited offering on international dishes. If you feel like keeping things simple, this could be the option for you!
