We are all keen to find new ways that we can stay healthy and look after our bodies. Exercise is, of course, one of the best ways to do this so why not consider buying a bike? There is some excellent scenery as you head into East Pattaya or indeed travel to the south. Many of the routes in the area do allow you to spend time off the main roads that will make your journey more relaxing as well as being safer at the same time.
Pattaya to Silverlake Vineyard
Silverlake is situated around 25km to the south-east of Pattaya and best known for the vineyard and Buddha Mountain. The most common route is along Sukhumvit Road to Na Jomtien Soi 13. From here you will get to take in some fantastic landscapes. The climbs involved are relatively short and shouldn’t pose too much of a problem for cyclists of a medium standard and above.
Around Lake Mabprachan
This is a great option especially if you live in East Pattaya. Including some of the surrounding side roads, the journey is approximately 10km and is mainly on quieter roads. There are very few hills included in the journey so it is very relaxing as well as helping you to improve your fitness. This route is suitable for cyclists of all standards but aimed more at beginners with their being plenty of places that you can stop for a break if so required.

Pattaya to Ban Chang
Ban Chang is a popular 19th hole for many local golfers but is a very pleasant ride out in its own right. The journey is approximately 50km and does include some hill sections. As you will be going past Silverlake, you could always stop for a drink or something to eat. Much of the latter part of this journey is on country roads so it is relatively relaxing. There are hotels in the Ban Chang area if you wish to stay.
Pattaya to Sattahip
This is a journey along the Sukhumvit Road, going past the serene Bang Saray. There are some impressive views along the journey with the road being quieter once past Na Jomtien. The journey is about 30km long with plenty of places to stop on the way. There are very few climbs so this ride would be ideal for anyone who is a medium standard cyclist or above.

Pattaya to J-Park, Bang Saen
This is a route that is approximately 50km and is more suited to experienced riders as much of the journey can be in relatively busy traffic. The route gives you the chances to see what is outside of Pattaya. On route, you could stop at food stalls or enjoy a coffee to break up your journey. Once at J-Park you could have a look around at the entertainment park or alternatively head back to Pattaya. After the Highway 36 turn, there are several options to take you back through East Pattaya or alternative Naklua.
