Jomtien has a wide selection of entertainment venues ranging from upmarket restaurants to sports bars to the more traditional beer bar. A wide variety of beer bars can be found in the Rompho Complex, just a couple of hundred metres along Jomtien 2nd Road although there are also plenty on many of the sois in the area.
Aussie Bar
The Aussie Bar is one of the best-known bars in Jomtien and is located at the front of the Rompho Complex. The bar is popular with both ex-pats and tourists and has a reasonable crowd from the middle of the afternoon. On the TVs, they show a wide selection of sports although they do tend to focus more on the Australian games. The beer prices are very reasonable, and the girls are all very efficient and friendly.
Rum Dum Bar
The Rum Dum Bar is another of the popular bars in the Rompho Complex. The bar opens early in the morning for those who haven’t made it home yet or like to start drinking early. The girls are friendly and attentive and always keen to have a game of pool. Like most of the bars in the area, the prices are very reasonable, and you can usually find someone to talk to and pass the time. Sports are again a big part of the bar although not quite to the same level as the Aussie Bar.

Bootleggers Bar
The Bootleggers Bar is another of the standout bars in the Rompho Complex with pool and darts featuring quite heavily in the entertainment. The bar is well run and organised with sports shown on TVs with the prices being very similar to the rest of the bars in the area. It is another bar where it is quite easy to strike up a conversation and make new friends. The girls are friendly and helpful and always happy to join in the bar games.
Country Road Bar
The Country Road is located close to the start of Jomtien Beach Road and is a great place to sit, relax and watch the world go by. They also sell a selection of food which you can enjoy with your beer. The bar has an overall relaxed feel, and the staff are all friendly and welcoming, and the bar prices are pretty much on a par with others in the area. Country Road is on a Baht Bus, so make the ideal starting point or place to finish the evening.

Red Carpet Bar
The Red Carpet Bar is on Jomtien Soi 2 and is a slightly more upmarket beer bar. The bar is well furnished and well laid out. It is a very friendly and welcoming bar and can get quite lively after midnight. The happy hour until 4 pm is also popular and attracts good numbers as the prices are excellent value. It is quite a small bar, but in many ways, this adds to its appeal.
Cheers Bar
Cheers Bar is located on Jomtien Soi 7 and is an excellent place to people watch with the beers advertised as the coldest in Jomtien! The bar welcomes all nationalities, and this is one of the most appealing things about the bar. The bar is well laid, and the girls are all very friendly, attentive and accommodating.
