Thailand has a well established reputation as a place where medical tourism thrives and indeed this is certainly the case with Pattaya. If you have walked along any street in the city, there is a good chance that you will have seen at least one dentist. The standard of dentistry is excellent and it is, of course, far cheaper than in the west. Almost all dentists offer a fantastic service but we have tried to identify the ones that perhaps go that extra mile.
Bangkok Hospital Pattaya
Bangkok Hospital Pattaya has excellent dental facilities and may not be as expensive as you may imagine. They have a number of dentists working throughout the day so if you are looking for emergency treatment then this perhaps the best option. Cosmetic dentistry is also available and is again of the highest standard but is perhaps a little more costly than what is offered by other practices in the city. English is widely spoken as too are other languages.
Dental Design Centre
The DDC concentrates more on cosmetic dentistry rather than your usual run of the mill treatments although these are available. This is an award winning dentist with accreditations from around the world. The latest, most painless techniques are always used and patient comfort is key to their service with LCD screens available throughout your treatment. This is slightly more expensive than some of the other practices in the city but the service and treatment is of the highest order. This is probably the best place to go in the city for cosmetic dentistry.
Orthosmile Dental Clinic
Orthosmile Dental Clinic is another of the highly rated dentists in the city with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. They can be found on Pattaya 2nd Road in North Pattaya and as the name suggests their main focus is orthodontics although they do offer standard services as well. The prices are very reasonable and English is widely spoken. They have a number of dentists working in the practice so you won’t have too long to wait should you require emergency treatment.
Dental Emporium
The Dental Emporium is located on Naklua Road is an English, German and Thai speaking dentist. This is another dentist that specialises in cosmetic dentistry but also offer standard treatments at very fair prices. All the dentists are very well-trained and they use high quality and latest equipment to ensure that you receive first class treatment. They have in-house laboratories so there will be no delays in waiting for your results to come back. This gives you that added peace of mind.

Dental Smile
There are two Dental Smile surgeries in Pattaya, one on Soi Buakhao and one on 3rd Road. Unlike many of the other dentists, Dental Smile concentrate on offering standard dental services such as scale and polish, fillings and extractions although they do have the capacity to offer cosmetic services. The prices are very reasonable and can be found on their website with stops you from being hit with any excessive bills.
German Dental Clinic
Another of the popular dentists in the Jomtien area is the German Dental Clinic that can be found on Thappraya Road. Although the prices are slightly higher than those charged by other clinics, the level of care is excellent and they prove to be very popular with German-speaking expats. German, English, Thai and Russian are spoken at this clinic which naturally increases its appeal.
