What is it about Pizza that makes it so popular? It’s just a simple dough base but can come with a myriad of toppings. Loved by the young and old and now in Pattaya by Thai customers who often prefer seafood pizzas smothered in tomato ketchup as the more traditional, international community.
Pizza is as enjoyable when shared at home whilst watching a good film when accompanied by a glass of wine. Here now are six of Pattaya’s best restaurants from which to procure excellent pizzas.
New York Pizza House
If you are looking to have a pizza delivered, the New York Pizza House is exemplary at offering this service. They have a tried and tested system that keeps a record of your address from the first time you call-in your order. Delivery is always prompt and accurate, with the pizzas arriving piping hot. They also have some great sides, such as hot sauce chicken wings and blue cheese dip – strongly recommended.
Pizza Big
Pizza Big is located on Naklua Road, opposite Soi 18. The restaurant is well laid out, with a wood-burning pizza oven being its main focal point. From this oven, a large selection of traditional pizzas are cooked in front of the customers, and the prices here are very fair.

Dom Pizzas
Dom Pizzas Restaurant is situated in Pratumnak on Soi 5 and has gained popularity due to the many promotions. It’s worth making a note of their Facebook page to keep track of these, including “Buy one Get one Free” deals or their “Happy Hour” promotions each day between 2 pm and 6 pm when pizzas are just 240 Thai Baht.
Marco’s Restaurant and Pizzeria
Marco’s, located on Thappraya Road, Jomtien, is well regarded for arguably serving some of the finest Italian food in Pattaya. With 20 different pizza options to choose from, it is an excellent place for either lunch or dinner, with air-conditioned seating inside or outside watching the world go by. It has also recently made huge inroads into the home delivery market via Grab and Hungry Now services.
Frankie’s Inn
Sourdough pizzas were once the preserve of Sergio’s pizza restaurant, which has sadly closed. However, they can now be found at Frankie’s Inn on Jomtien 2nd Road that also houses a boutique hotel upstairs – in case you are planning on consuming a few bottles of their enjoyable wines.

Sicily
Over by Lake Mabprachan, pizza lovers can now get their fill of some genuinely excellent pizzas from this delightful restaurant at Pong, right by the lake. As the name suggests, the decor and the cuisine are Sicilian inspired. The pizzas are exceptional, made from the traditional pizza oven on view to diners from the open kitchen.
