As Pattaya is a coastal resort, it is hardly surprising that seafood plays a significant part on many menus in the city. The fresh food is naturally enticing and is very reasonably priced – even at the most upmarket of restaurants. Although the seafood is widely available, there are lots of restaurants that would claim that it is their speciality. Here are just 7 of the top seafood restaurants in Pattaya.
Moom Aroi Seafood Restaurant
There are actually 2 Moom Aroi restaurants in Pattaya. One can be found at the far end of Naklua Road and the other is on Pattaya 3rd Road. Both specialise in offering great seafood and have an extensive menu. The one in Naklua is on the seafront and offers stunning views in a simple setting. The place is large and attracts big groups although bookings are not necessary, you may have to wait a few minutes for a table. The service is good and they have plenty of staff so you won’t be kept waiting for your meal.
This is a restaurant that has been in business for over 30 years which is testimony to the quality of the food. It can be found at the southern end of Jomtien Beach Road and again has an extensive menu. Similar to Moom Aroi, it is quite a simplistic setting but the food is fantastic and great value for money. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly so this just adds to the experience. If you live in Jomtien, this is a great option for you.

Rim Talay is located on Wongamat Beach, next to the Centara Hotel. This restaurant is open from mid-morning but tends to be more of a night time venue. It offers pleasant views across the bay and again has a comprehensive menu. Although not a cheap as the previous options, it is still good value. This seems to be a favourite with the many tourists who are staying in the area.
In a similar manner to Moom Aroi, The Glasshouse has 2 venues, the original in Ban Amphur and one at The Zire condo in Wongamat. These are upmarket restaurants that specialises in seafood but also offers a wide selection of other dishes. They are both in premium locations and as a result, are a little more expensive but the quality of the food is excellent. These restaurants are popular high society Thais which is a reflection on the quality of the food.

No list of seafood restaurants would be complete without a mention of King Seafood – arguably the most famous of the seafood restaurants in Pattaya. Found on Walking Street, King Seafood is naturally more expensive but the food is very good as too is the service and location. This is the perfect place to start your evening if you are planning on spending a night in walking Street.
Another of the well-known restaurants on Walking Street. There is little to choose between the 2 locations so it would be impossible to mention one without the other although Marine is cheaper than King Seafood. The staff speak excellent English and the service is exemplary.
This is another of the restaurants based on Jomtien Beach Road. It is in actual fact a brand but nevertheless makes our list thanks to its excellent selection of food and quality service. This is a place where you know exactly what you are going to get at fair prices as is the case with many brands. If you are looking for consistency, this could be the one for you!
